The first year in Palazzo Litta
Mosca Partners asked four artists: Daniel Liebeskind, Emmanuel Babled, Alvin Huang, and Gam Fratesi, to tell their “urban stories” in collaboration with design brands. Installations interpreted as “temptations” were created as a result of leader companies’ commitment to depict the landscape inside and outside of our city and were used to create Urban Stories.
The installation, by Alvin Huang, was the winning project from 150 in the Open Architecture Contest launched by Volvo. It is a flexible and foldable structure able to recharge the batteries (thanks to solar panels) of the new hybrid Volvo V60 car.
